The Leverage Begins - 2 Bloggers Hired
After nearly a month of thinking, 2 weeks of consideration and a few days of action (that’s all it takes really) I’ve successfully reinforced my entertainment blog with 2 new bloggers.
I explained why I wanted to do this in my post ‘Hiring Bloggers‘ few days ago:
“Hiring 1-3 bloggers will not only increase the number of posts, RSS subscribers, and revenue on the established blog, but will also allow me to launch another one, a good step towards leveraging my monetization opportunities.”
What I’m feeling right now is a mixture of excitement and nervousness. Obviously I see the huge leverage opportunity with this move, but I must not forget this is my biggest earner and a huge success, I don’t want a drastic change like that to cause imbalance with post frequency and quality. Getting two new bloggers in the atmosphere/mood of the blog isn’t an easy thing, but I’m all up for it.
If you’re still doubting the idea and calculating the risk of paying for two bloggers at once and tutoring them slowly into becoming senior editors, continue reading, I’ve got something for you.
Actually, there is no risk.
I don’t mind taking risks after some deep thought, but if I can avoid the risk, why should I even take it? in my opinion, if you spend a bit more time thinking how can your investment be risk-free (yes, it’s possible), you may find you’ve reduced the risk by 30%-100%.
When first dabbling with the idea of hiring bloggers, I didn’t have sufficient Paypal income to pay for any, sure - The money I had there after selling one of my blogs would have been sufficient to hire 2-3 bloggers for one year (at the least), but that would mean my account cash flow would be on the red, something I insist on preventing.
The leverage
I then recalled an offer I received to write daily for another blog, the monologue in my head quickly resulted in a decision - Accept the offer, and use the money I earn from the job to hire a blogger or two.
The leverage is in the fact that my monthly earnings from posting on that blog is sufficient to pay for two bloggers, or in practice - for each post I write on the blog I was hired for I get two posts on my own. Simple math people.

How do you find you bloggers. Just curious where do you look for them. If you have some free time contact me, i am always glad to get to know people interested in online business and blogging. bizgainer [at] gmail [dot] com
