October
October is here, time to set some goals, talk about how i’m going to try and reach them, and share some of the recent events. First off, a piece of advice:
Beyond understanding- There are points of truth about making money online that most of us take as obvious, common sense points. Sometimes we take them for granted to a point that makes them transparent to us in the daily work, which turns them into some kind of cliches. Let’s take hard work or daily improvement; these are things that we all -at least seemingly- understand. Do you really feel you’ve worked hard today? do you really feel that you’ve done something to improve your website/blog/earnings? try to be honest with yourself and review your last week, on how many of these days the answer is ‘yes’?
The place i’m trying to take you to is that understanding is not enough, deeper terminology should be used with these simple, yet very important points, something like realizing. You want to reach a point where you really understand that if you don’t actually implement these points in your daily online-work, then you will not witness any improvement. Bottom line: Not despite, but because these points are so simple, we need to realize them and understand them more deeply in order for them not to become transparent to us.

Done with preaching, what’s for dinner tonight?
Google updates PR

Google updates PR
days before the rumors about the update began to spread i checked my pagerank prediction on various sites, most of them showed that my gadget-tech blog is a PR6 predicted one, and that TDB is an expected PR4 one (which means no change).
Days after the update i see that MMC&I is PR5, i’m not very pleased with this as i’ve expected a pagerank of 6, but i can’t complain too much, haven’t done anything very major since the previous update. TDB is PR4 as expected, hopefully with all these new incoming links i’ve got in the last few days, the next PR update would be more fertile.
October goals
I’m actually thinking of them right now while writing:
Well with some of those i’m “aiming high”, so even if i fail them partly, i’d be fine, but i have to reach some of them - like making a plan for a website. I’ll let you know if these are accomplished when November arrives.
New revenue streams
I’m already a member of Adsense and Text-Link-Ads; These two have been by far my top performers, i’ve decided to join a handful of networks in order to expirement and maybe devirsfy my income streams:
-RevenuePilot (aff): Non-contextual PPC (Pay-Per-Click) program that allows you to place advertisement in a huge variety of ways, even more customizable than Adsense. I’m yet to put this on any of my major blogs, but i’ve heard about higher PPC.
-MaxBounty (aff): A CPA (Cost-Per-Action) network that i’ve heard a lot of good things about, i will be trying some of their offered campaigns very soon for sure, especially those which are targeted demographically.
Until Next Time..
Quite a long post, don’t you think? (did you even reach this far? :P)
