March Forward
The fact February only has 28 days didn’t help my Adsense averages, but instead of whining about this and about the fact that Dreamhost was down for a whole day and loading extremely slow (have you noticed it?) for the next last 5 days, I’m putting together a recovery plan to perform better in March.

February: the month of the slacker

(January’s earnings)
So as you see February wasn’t exactly my month, for a couple of reasons: one of them is the fact that it has only 28 days, so there 2-3 less days to make money, but that happens to everyone as well.
Another reason is the fact that Dreamhost was down for 24 hours after a major outage, and failed to fully resolve the problem until the end of the month. This seriously affects those who rely on PayPerClick advertising like myself, but that’s not the main reason my revenue went down..
February: The Month of The Slacker
While I believe I’ve done quite a good job here at AlleNation, which led to an impressive state of growth, the attention and effort put into this blog distracted me from my big earner, which I believe is the biggest reason why I didn’t fulfill my financial goals for February.
Yes, I’ve been slacking, and I paid the price..now it’s time to put in a recuperation plan before I go under the 4 figures mark:
Looking very simple on paper, on paper.
March is going to be interesting, more than you imagine. A lot more.
My February goals for AlleNation were to reach 100 unique visitors and have 70 RSS subscribers. Although I haven’t yet gained a steady 100 unique visitors average, my RSS subscriber count showed over 130 RSS subscribers on the last of February.
AlleNation is growing steadily and gaining a savvy audience that leave over 6 comments per post on average, most of them are thoughtful and interesting.
But the new features venturing into AlleNation into March are much more interesting comparing to what you’ve seen in February..I can’t say what these features are, but I can promise you these are not things you have seen on web, finance & personal development blogs lately.

Wow, congrats! There’s many of us who only wish we could be making a 4 digit blog income
Also, I don’t know if I missed it, but what’s you’re “main earner” as you referred to it in your post?
