Is Reinventing the Wheel Really That Complicated?

Young millionaire Alex Tew announced his new million-making site - Pixelotto. The idea is simple: 2 million pixels for sale, the more a surfer clicks on the purchased ads, the more chances he has of winning the one million dollar lottery after all ads are purchased. So one million for a lucky son-of-a-mother and one for Tew.

Alex is a 21 years old entrepreneur who is also the creator of The Million Dollar Homepage , a site that also featured selling pixel links. Tew’s ideas is the kind that makes you bang your head against your screen and ask how the hell didn’t you think about that first?

Well, maybe you overlooked these ideas because they seem stupid, idiotic & banal. In our wet-entrepreneur dreams we see ourselves owning a big entertainment site, big social communities and earning thousands from Google Adsense. Just like many other people out there. Exactly - We aspire to something that seems so hard and far away, thinking we’ll be on top of the world if we reach it, but we never stop and think “hey, there are dudes doing this already!”.

You have never thought of creating a pixel selling site or sell dog goggles online1 because you were thinking of coding that entertainment site of yours, getting your forum a new hefty design or VB license. You’re simply too smart, and you can’t undress your brain of all the things you’ve heard learned. You can’t stop for a moment and think clearly of something simple without getting your subconscious to scold you for thinking about something so stupid and dumb….an idea that could have made you millions.

So is reinventing the wheel too complicated? or is it just too simple?

Hi,

I just wanted to get in touch to mention our newly launched website, TurfJam. Its an experiment in the worth of online advertising spaces.

Following on from Internet legends such as the Million Dollar Homepage, TurfJam is an advertising opportunity for marketeers and businesses.. however, the difference here is that each spot on TurfJam is being auctioned off. There are 100 pieces of “turf”, being released 10 at a time. As each auction runs and completes we will be updating and comparing the winning cost of each piece (all are the same size) to see how the price changes over time, and in relation to the number of pieces of turf left.

If you would like more information please visit http://www.turfjam.com or get in touch with any questions.

Regards,
Craig Williams
