60 Days Later…
I don’t know how many of you are still reading this blog, I’m sure most of those who did read it are wondering why did I go underground for two months and why did I leave after setting the expectations bar so high (remember my March promises?)..
Truth is, I have no intentions of telling why I was gone, or what was I doing in that time, I can only say this - I’ve left the dream for a bigger one.
In July this year I will be recruited to the army when I’m less than 18 years old, merely a month after finishing school I will wear my uniform and perform my duty towards my country.
I may have left my blogging dream for now, but I assure you I will be back before some of you notice, and after some of you have already left - I will serve in the army for 3 years, and yes - I am intending to go back into pursuing my blogging dream after that..
Some of you will remember, some of you won’t, but that’s not what’s important - What’s important is that I influenced some of you, and I hope that inspiration will stick forever.
AlleNation will always be my home on the net, no matter what happens - it has my name all over it, and it’s going nowhere. It might not be that interesting or up-to-date for you, but those of you who will decide to stick will be appreciated, those who don’t won’t be blamed.
I want to thank you all for your continuous support, numerous emails and wonderful comments, you have all helped me reach the checkpoint I’m about to cross right now..and I assure those of you who will stick around - we will meet (or chat) again!

Good luck and congratulations on the decision. I joined the Guard in 2004 and have already spent a little over two years on Active Duty. I just returned in January from Afghanistan and after I finish my undergraduates degree in December I will be spending approximately two years in California at DLI learning Arabic. I’ve found my time in uniform very rewarding and have no real regrets in joining.
Good Luck, and I hope you post a few updates along the way.
